Karen Jeanne O'Donnell for Waltham City Councillor at Large
Karen's stance on Transportation
To reduce air emissions, the city should take the lead on emission-free vehicles.
There are more cars registered than there are people in Waltham!
We should monitor traffic levels on our city streets, especially in light of the Mass Pike toll booth changes.
We should also be concerned about the toll booth changes due to the Fast Lane system, which collects information to give to Fleet Bank.
Serious parking concerns at South Side due to dense development – we need incentives to not have a car.
A lot of private roads are becoming city roads – what’s the true cost?
I support a Master Plan for development and transportation needs.
I support bike paths.
